Esher U16s booked their place in the Quins Cup final with an impressive semi-final victory 27-29 over a strong Farnham side on Sunday.

Esher made the perfect start, opening the scoring in the very first minute. A smart kick through from Castor Savva was collected by Josh Heywood, who crossed the line to score a superb opening try.

In a tightly contested first half, both teams traded scores, with Esher edging ahead to lead 12–10 at the break. The advantage of the slope and wind in the second half proved crucial as Esher turned pressure into points.

Tries from Reuben Galaun, Josh Heywood and Gabriel Savva helped to fend off a brave Farnham fightback, while Esher fly-half Oscar Smith calmly added a well-taken penalty to seal the win.

The result secures Esher a place in the Quins Cup final, where they will face Hove at The Stoop next Monday, with kick-off scheduled for 8.00pm (TBC).

Wishing the boys all the best next Monday !
